Benji (boy #2)
Barty (boy #3)
The household is very small for this family, but that’s going to change a little bit this chapter.
Townies now think that this is the front door. Well, thanks. You’re really doing the Lord’s work out there.
The weekend is finally over, and the glitch gremlin is still in town.
So I had Krysten get a new job. Maybe the career is what’s glitched? So I’ll see in the morning if this one works.
To correct the great portrait deletion 2k19, we’ve invited over the older kids. Baylie didn’t want to come for whatever reason.
*sigh* This is going to take forever, isn’t it?
Lisa: “So this is the slapdance?”
Brylee: “Yeah, but you’re forgetting one crucial thing.”
Brylee: “Slap da butt! You must slap da butt, Lisa!”
Lisa: “Heheheh…” *is uncomfortable*
Bonnie: *stops and stares*
Bonnie: “Don’t you think you guys have enough kids to take care of without an alien baby too?”
Jason: “Actually, your mother is the… father.”
Bonnie: “I… uh… nope, I don’t wanna know.”
Jason goes into labor while everyone is over, which is what any pregnant person would want, I’m sure.
Not only do they get to experience his labor, but some of them are also shocked by it because they must have thought the extra weight was from all that cheesecake.
Jason gets the alien baby cutscene, which is both cute and creepy. Thanks for the photobomb, Bonnie.
The newest addition is named Beau, after a longhaired miniature dachshund that looks like this:
Beau’s personality is 5/5/1/7/8. So he’s moderately neat, not outgoing or a loner, pretty lazy, playful, and very friendly.
Everyone is pretty happy to meet their new brother.
Both Jason and Krysten rolled the wish to have ten kids after this. And I for sure locked that in.
Bernard: “Congrats on pushing that thing out somehow!”
Krysten: “I knew you had it in you!”
Benji: “He’s cute for a butt baby.”
Beau can’t stop staring at his older brother’s duck lip.
I can’t either.
These four stayed for dinner to have some of that satisfying homegrown ingredients meal.
I decided to adopt a cat. I believe it was Benji that kept popping a wish for it. She’s named Luna, after a miniature schnauzer.
Luna is one of my favorites, but since her name doesn’t start with a B, I thought naming the new kitten after her would be perfect.
Here’s Luna’s personality.
Benji is the first to meet her.
She’s cute, even if those are some dead looking eyes.
Bernard feeds his new baby brother. Beau tries to copy his duck lips from earlier.
Bim rang and I assumed that she wanted to talk to Barty, but when he picked up the phone she said this.
Her and Benji have a pretty low relationship score, so I’m not sure what her purpose was. *squinty eyes* I’m watching you…
Yes, this night lasted forever.
Finally, the next morning, I discover that switching careers did not help the glitch. I anticipated this happening, so I had saved the game a few hours before the carpool and school bus showed up.
I quit without saving, then went back in to move Krysten out of the house.
Benji: “Bye, Mom! We love you!”
Jason: “But we just had a baby!”
Don’t worry, she came right back after turning invisible in the taxi.
This is one of my last resorts to fix the glitch.
😲 Krysten is going to work for the first time!!!
Moving her out and back in brought us 20,000 simoleons. Of course I won’t be counting this at the end. And, yes, we were down to 700 simoleons.
Luna has her birthday and… I did not expect this. I totally forgot that puppies and kittens do not have the genetics of their adult form. She looks a bit more like the real Luna, though.
Benji and Barty successfully go to their first days of work.
Benji gets promoted right away!
Then gained some weight from all that fulfilling food.
