Welcome back to the Lee baby boom!
Brylee (girl #1)
Baylie (girl #2)
Bonnie (girl #3)
Benji (boy #2)
Barty (boy #3)
The Lees have been through a lot by now. I think they’ve earned a vacation. And iirc, it cost 4,000 simoleons just for airfare, so they’re basically broke now.
I haven’t explained this, but I’ve decided to play the challenge in sort of intervals. Since the game allows for 8 Sims to a household (and I don’t want a stuffed household mod) I am having Jason and Krysten have 6 kids at a time relatively close together, then waiting until the youngest of those 6 are teen or close to it to start having the next kids. This way I get a break from having babies all the time and it gives me more of a sense of accomplishment.
Also, since we need 24 kids and 24/6 equals 4, I’m calling them quarters, AKA Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. We are now working on Q1, and I want to end each quarter with a celebration which the kids from that quarter can all be part of. Therefore, they’re taking a vacation, even though it’s totally unnecessary and just makes the challenge longer. But I really just want to enjoy myself, and I think this will be fun. Yep, I’ve thought way too much about this. Let’s get back to the chapter.
Kids: *shove suitcases through their heads because sun is too bright*
Since they’re broke now, of course they will be camping at Three Lakes!
Baylie: “The air here smells so fresh.”
Bonnie: “Really, camping? They’ve got to be kidding, right?”
Pancakes with a nice looking texture! (40 simoleons?! Okay, we can’t order too many of these.)
Your glitching eyes remind me of Janice.
Anyways, throwing axes!
I love when they almost fall over the line but catch themselves, lol.
Krysten: “I saw some people greeting each other like this…” *pounds chest with fists*
Bonnie: “Mom, stop! You look like a hillbilly!”
Krysten: “I’m just trying to learn, and you better change your attitude, young lady.”
Krysten and Jason take their youngest twins to the Lumber Mill Range (Jason is still in his career outfit from this morning lmao).
Krysten: “Having fun yet?”
Jason checks out their pancake man monument.
And Barty tries to learn the slap dance.
Pretty soon they’ve all joined in.
Of course Krysten has the hardest time trying to learn it.
So she joins Jason at the ax throwing range.
He’s already good at this because his
athletic body skill is at level 9.
The boys practice on the logs.
That’s a fail and a half.
So Krysten goes against Benji on the logs. What’s this sport called anyway?
Ah, logrolling. I should have known.
Barty is up against his father (again, level 9 body skill).
That was expected.
They play until they’re too exhausted to go on.
This is when I discovered that when you’re on vacation and spend time away from the “home” lot, time still passes there. And I really don’t mind since the only things to do at camp are eat, sleep, and fish.
That’s why it’s nighttime now as Bernie and his sisters visit Wallowa Park.
They hang out together.
Luckily for them, a townie made some hot dogs!!!
Couldn’t really do anything else here since they’re too broke. Goodbye, bear!
Back at the campsite, Baylie falls asleep on a hammock.
Everyone is still hungry, and using the grills is free! So get used to hamburgers and hot dogs.
Krysten tries some roasted marshmallows.
Krysten: “Mmmm. Almost better than…
Townie: “These woohoo noises make me vErY ANGRY!”
Somebody needs to get some woohoo.
This special episode of the Lee baby boomers will be concluded in the next chapter…
